Abstract

The article analyses the causes of insecurity in elder people. Especially those associated with different areas of life, compromised autonomy, and reduced empowerment. The population of ageing people has grown and continues to grow. Different interpretations of age have served as underlying assumptions of belonging to at-risk groups. However, there are problems that increase inequality, as people are different and age years can tell often little about human function. Changing society has, with the advancement of technology, affected the lives of elder people, bringing new opportunities to it, but also many challenges. There are plenty of factors in the lives of elder people that affect their standard of living, personal experiences and social and psychological well-being. Restrictions affect people’s social lives and caused loneliness. Loneliness, living alone and little pension have related with health insecurity in elder people life. Loneliness is a message of increasing inequality among the elder people. On issues of values and causes, people’s indifference to others most commonly causes insecurity.
