Since the 1990s, the economy of Yangtze River Delta region develops rapidly and industries restructure effectively. But the internal development of region remains still uneven. The cities in Yangtze River Delta have four levels of development pattern. Based on the analysis of four levels of the Yangtze River Delta’s economic development and trend of changes in the industrial structure, the paper makes model and analysis for complex systems of Yangtze River Delta’s economy and society. It uses the historical data from 1995 to 2005 to forecast Yangtze River Delta’s economic development and industrial structure in the next 15 years. Thus it makes appropriate recommendations on the future development in Yangtze River Delta.
