Abstract:

During China Path of two–stage transformation in rural–urban labor mobility, the second generation peasant workers are a special group. They are not only remarkable different from the first generation peasant workers both in socioeconomic and personal characteristics, but also are much more eager to transform to urban residents. However, they are still confronted with quite a few challenges. So, it is necessary for the government to make institutional innovations to prompt the transformation of the second generation peasant workers.
